*Update(Tuesday, 5/16/17 at 4:50pm) The Texans have signed Breno Giacomini.

Today on the show, Patrick and Nate talked about the hole the Texans have at right tackle after the loss of Derek Newton. Newton was recently placed on the PUP list and is not expected to play this year. According to sources, the guys believe the Texans have an interest in signing former Jets and Seahawks tackle, Breno Giacomini. Giacomini is not without his share of issues, including some back injuries that could concern the Texans.

Giacomini has worked with Texans o-line coach, Mike Devlin

One thing he has going for him is a working relationship with Texans o-line coach, Mike Devlin. Giacomini was coached by Devlin when he played for the Jets in 2014. Nate and Patrick expect the Texans to pay Giacomini anywhere from two to four million dollars on a short-term deal after back surgery. He is expected to be recovered and ready for training camp.
